UI Developer

Minimum Required Skills Jr UI Dev : 2+ years of UI Developer experience Mid UI Dev: 5+ years of UI Developer experience Core Technologies: 1. Strong experience with CSS3/HTML5/JavaScript with a focus on modern techniques and approaches 2. A solid understanding of Front-end design patterns and principals: Responsive Web Design, MVC, BEM, OOCSS, Event Delegation, Modules, Singletons,Prototypes, Mixins, Publish/Subscribe, XHR, Server-side vs client-side, etc. 3. A solid understanding of AJAX and how to fetch data from a service endpoint that can be used to render dynamic web content 4. Experience with GIT distributed version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket 5. Experience with Front End and accessibility tools: Devtools, Web Fiddler, Visual Studio (or preferred IDE), JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback 6. Comfortable reviewing a UX wireframe and building corresponding UI efficiently; Works with UX partners and identifies design risks proactively to deliver applications for high-traffic websites 7. Familiarity with frameworks like Vue.JS 8. Familiarity with performance optimization tools (i.e. lighthouse) and techniques (image compression, lazy loading, bundling, sprites, etc.) 9. Familiarity with Node, NVM and NPM 10. Experience with Vanilla JS (ES6) and modern Javascript frameworks and libraries (examples - Vue, React, Polymer, Angular, Handlebars, JQuery, and others).
