Job Title : Vmware Admin Location : Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) Duration : Longterm Job description:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
  • Must have experience in Nutanix and VMware ESXi infrastructure
  • Attend to incidents in virtual infrastructure queue.
  • Perform patching of VMware ESXi infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues.
  • Provide assistance on change activity to other operations groups.
  • Effectively communicate issues and resolutions.
  • Be an escalation point for afterhours issues.
  • Bringing VMs into Nutanix
  • Good diagnostic ability, understanding of network concepts (e.g., VLAN, Routing)
  • Nutanix background - will bring up on Truist environment
  • Administration experience with VMware components including ESXi, vCenter, vMotion, DRS, Update Manager and vRealize Operations Manager.
  • Cisco UCS manager a plus
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
