Web API Developer (Hybrid)

A services organization in North Carolina is currently seeking a new Web API Developer for a promising opportunity with their growing team in Charlotte. In this role, the Web API Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and implementing web applications and/or services designed to support the company's client's portals platforms based web applications. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite a few days a week.

• Develop software based on Portals Platform standards and patterns
• Work as a part of a development team
• Participate in peer and code review activities
• Mentor less experienced developers
• Perform other duties, as needed

• Strong working knowledge and experience with Spring & Spring MVC
• Experience with ReactJS, ES6, Webpack, Babel, Immutable, Java 8, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Mongo
• Solid understanding of OOP
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and continuous integration tools
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Experience with Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design
• Good understanding of git version control system
• Experience with Java 8
• Experience with Maven
