- Meeting with the business to review websites requirements.
- Design, develop and maintain external and internal websites to specified requirements.
- Maintaining and developing company’s Intranet to specified requirements.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites
- Stay plugged into emerging trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with other designers to match visual design intent
- Perform site audits and manage site analytics
- Providing systems training to staff and business as needed.
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS along with JavaScript
- Expert level experience in Drupal (knowledge of WordPress is a plus)
- Expert level experience in SharePoint/SharePoint Online
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, MySQL, Python or Ruby on Rails
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development
- Knowledge and actively checks to meet federal accessibility standards and requirements with WCAG 2.0 standards and EAA/EN301549 Compliance (U.S/Europe)
- Creating content management system (CMS) and templates for shareholders (Internal, blogs etc.)
- Able to communicate well with coworkers and clients and explain the process clearly, with a willingness to teach
