Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a

Web Developer to program the corporate website, company intranet, and other related sites. This is a direct hire role with a hybrid work schedule. You can sit in New York, NY or Winston-Salem, NC.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop assigned software projects as determined by management and stakeholders
  • Develop assigned product maintenance releases in accordance with prioritized lists of enhancements and defects
  • Assist in the architecture, design, and prototyping of application systems
  • Participate in and contribute to technology website strategy and planning initiatives
  • Provide SME technology Level 3 support to internal clients and address production issues in a timely manner
  • Work with and assist in the management of outsourcing other technology vendors
  • Perform quality control, testing, and implementation
  • Document requirements, identify gaps, estimate realistic deadlines, and provide periodic updates

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in web/windows programming languages (e.g., .NET, .NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, C#)
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio 2019+ for the development of websites, web services, Windows services, and console applications
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle, version control systems (TFS), continuous integration, and source code analysis tools
  • Experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of user-centric design principles and techniques
