Do you take pride in excellence?North 40 Outfitters, a farm and ranch retail store in Airway Heights/West Spokane, WA, is looking for a self-motivated and responsible Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be someone who is highly organized, a self-starter and has expert time management skills. Primary duties will be assisting the bookkeeper and performing bookkeeper duties when necessary, assist customer and guest services, onboard all new employees,run weekly and monthly reports for the management team and aid in sign creation and distribution. This individual must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office - previous cashier experience is preferred. Qualifications
- Cashiering and/or cash handling experience
- Prior administrative support experience desired
- Knowledge of clerical procedures, managing files, designing forms and other office applications
- Ability to administer new hire paperwork and maintain employee files
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software application such as:Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be reliable and have a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortablepresenting information to people in one-on-one and group situations
- Ability to to effectively organize, prioritize and time manage workload and demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable with change and confident in problem solving capabilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive company information
- Ability to sit for extended periods (over 2 hours), infrequently required to climb, stoop, reach, sit or stand while handling light objects and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs
