This role is staffed as a rotational schedule where the resource works two weeks in North Dakota(16 days, 12 hour a day shifts) and then has two weeks off. All work is done onsite/in the field

Skills Required
  • Provide troubleshooting support for all well pads (Thousands) based on tasks assigned daily from client and tracked through SAP.
  • Includes activities like the following: Troubleshooting Rockwell PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) faults, errors, and behavior per the request of operations
  • Changing or modifying code as requested by client.
  • This could include activities such as removing from the code a temperature transmitter or other piece of equipment no longer in use.
  • Depending on the equipment an MOC will or will not be issued per clients internal protocols
  • Installing new equipment per clients request.
  • This equipment has been engineered by the client engineering team, and is then fully tested from physical device through the PLC system and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
  • Maybe includes some work outside of maintenance as well, that could include:
  • Development of new PLC and SCADA code based on pre-defined templates that have been used and agreed upon by client.
  • Development based off of engineering documents provided by client
  • Testing of code with client both prior to install and during install.
  • FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) is conducted on all of these projects
  • Sign off verification of code with client at time of install
  • QAQC checking by both personnel and Client personnel
  • Backup of code and imports to Rockwell Asset Center Automation Software
  • Provide Process Control Engineering, included but not limited to: specification, engineering, configuration and startup for projects implementing automation control systems for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas based clients.
  • Possess a good understanding of industry design practices and automation systems. Create and develop drawings based on input from designers or engineers.
