District Technician

The District Technician position is a full or part time position, which is negotiable at the time of the interview. There are benefits and the position is the direct responsibility of the Board of Supervisors. They will provide technical and administrative assistance for the Bowman-Slope Soil Conservation District. The District Technician will be in charge of the tree and fabric installation, maintaining district equipment, asses the need for conservation work in the counties, promote conservation practices, assist with district programs, presents educational events to the community, and assist the NRCS with technical assistance. The District Technician's main role will be the SCD Tree Installation and Fabric Installation process. They will be in charge of making tree plans with the producer, ordering trees, and installing the trees and weed barrier.
