Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6am-6:30pm (36 hours a week) OR 8am-6:30pm (30 hours a week)Must be able to take on call if needed.This position offers on-the-job training that will qualify you for a promotion to Specialist + pay increase within the first 6 months!As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to:

Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.

Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle.

Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.

Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.

Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.Requirements

High School diploma or GED required

Valid in-state driver's license

Six months of customer service experience required

Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
