Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.

Conduct inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are safe and meet all code requirements.

Install new lighting, control systems, and other electrical components.

Repair and replace electrical components, such as wiring, fixtures, and circuit breakers.

Communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service and address any questions.

Ensure all work adheres to safety guidelines and the National Electrical Code (NEC).

May involve training and supervising apprentices.

Lead and mentor apprentice electricians, overseeing their work and providing guidance.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid ND Journeyman Electrician license.

(Or in the process of attaining one).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Strong knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes.

Proficiency with testing devices and hand tools.

Valid driver's license.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
