Laborer/Picker/Operator Apprentice (This is one position)

Intex is looking to hire physical individuals with grit and an eagerness to learn and develop inside the crushing industry. Intex is a family owned and operated business that started in 1975 and currently operates six mobile crushing spreads that crush recycled concrete, asphalt and virgin aggregates throughout Minnesota, eastern South Dakota and eastern North Dakota. We are looking for someone to join our North Dakota crew. The majority of the work would be in the Fargo & Grand Forks area but travel may be required at times.

All work takes place outdoors rain or shine, with the exception of unsafe or unworkable conditions. Duties include picking debris off of a moving conveyor, helping maintain equipment, job site cleanup and helping to tear down and setup crushing spreads. Skidsteer experience does help.

Summer and Fall hours are 55 - 60 per week, Monday through Friday. Crews are typically off by mid-day every Friday to allow for a longer weekend. These hours are for the crushing season, April – Mid December.

Laborer wage starts at $27 per hour plus health insurance and 401k contribution, with scheduled rate increases. Laborers also receive a $1,000 signing bonus after 60 working days of employment.

Opportunities for advancement include becoming a heavy equipment operator. A pre-employment drug screen will be performed and must be passed.
