ResponsibilitiesEffectively operate and inspect two machines in any one class of machines (Screw, Rotary, or Davenport) at 80% productivityRead control plans and determine appropriate gaugingResponsible for quality of work as well as active use of micrometers and other related instruments to ensure that parts meet print specificationPerform initial trouble shooting assessment and identify basic machine problemsMake minor tooling adjustments including changing quick change toolingPull shift tickets and assist with cycle countsResponsible for crane operationMaintain accurate record keepingMaintain clean and orderly work area and tool zonePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A bidder must successfully complete any job-related assessments required.High school diploma or equivalent is requiredMinimum of 6 months of screw machine experienceMust be able to read and understand blue printsDemonstrated mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to use measuring instruments and gauges accuratelyAbility to read and understand procedures, work instructions, and other production documentationMust have basic math skills (adding, subtraction, multiplication and division)Able to lift and carry up to 50 lb loadNo disciplinary write-ups in the last 6 monthsMust have less than two (2) incidents under the attendance policyDemonstrated positive work history through performance reviewsMust be able to pass applicable assessments
