We’re seeking a compassionate, patient, and problem-solving Polysomnographic Technologist to join our talent team in this highly impactful role.What you will do:

Performing either Sleep Study Procedures or Neurological Testing for all patient populations.

Understanding the testing equipment, including it’s structure, function, indications for use, physiological effect upon the patient and basic maintenance/troubleshooting procedures.

Monitor and document appropriately in medical record per facility guidelines.

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) standards and accreditation.

Possess a knowledge and understanding of the disease and pathological conditions encountered.

Educating patients with prescribed therapies and sleep testing and following up as needed.

Acquire the ability to work with all age groups and those with growth and developmental needs of unique client populations.

Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) or similar education is preferred. Completion of department approved training program is required.Working knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potentials (EP) instrumentation, pattern recognition, and various medical and pharmacological conditions is preferred.
