About Foundation:Foundation Energy Management, LLC is an oil and gas exploration, and production company headquartered in Dallas, TX. We operate and manage producing properties located across multiple basins for our institutional limited partners. Position Summary:The Production Foreman position is integral to support Foundation’s mission to provide safe and efficient operations. The position requires strong organizational skills to identify and address both current and future projects for the company’s assets. This position requires the ability to adequately display a broad and deep understanding of all facets of operations including production, supervision, cost control, and operational problems. The Production Foreman is also responsible for achieving maximum well production under safe operating conditions and is accountable for all operations and assets under their direction. Reports directly to the Region Production Superintendent. Will be responsible for managing direct reports to include pumpers, meter techs, mechanics, etc. Travel to field locations will be required for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.-Assign and coordinate daily activities and priorities for pumpers, roustabouts, contractors and/or consultants. -Monitor, analyze and submit reports on daily activities – production, well work, field projects, etc. -Accurately track progress and costs associated with all work occurring in assigned area, to include all PO and AFE work. -Company Man for routine workovers. BOP certification required. (if not held, company will fund training to obtain.) -Effectively manage monthly production and expenses to maximize cash flow. Demonstrated ability to generate ideas to improve cash flow. -Review LOS monthly with pumpers to identify cost centers for reduction and control. -Identify and eliminate repetitive tasks and procedures that can be simplified or delegated. -Process paperwork and invoices correctly and in a timely manner. -Become familiar with the technical factors involved in oil and gas production, including: Artificial lift design principles, application of oilfield chemicals, fluid measurement, petroleum reservoir management, and proper operation and maintenance of all production equipment. -Develop solutions, not problems. -Ensure all environmental and safety compliance issues are met. Qualifications:A minimum of five years of Oil and Gas operations and equipment experience with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot well and equipment problems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as problem solving and project management skills required.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead field personnel.Education/Experience: High School diploma or G.E.D.
