CommonSpirit Health is committed to creating healthier communities, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring every person has access to quality health care.ResponsibilitiesSTATEMENT OF PURPOSE:Works under the supervision of the Vice President of Human Resources and the Department of Education. Plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities and provides administrative direction for the School of Radiologic Technology in harmony with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all administrative/managerial functions within the School of Radiologic Technology

Provides didactic instruction for a major portion of the curriculum.

Maintains professional standards by participating in continuing education sessions, in-services, faculty development seminars/workshops, and professional conventions all designed to increase growth and skill in administration of the School of Radiologic Technology.

Interprets philosophy, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for all student radiographers and the Department of Radiology.

Functions in such a way to live out the Mission and Values Statement of St. Alexius Medical Center.

Maintains accreditation of Program by the accredited body (North Central Association of Colleges and Schools) for the University of Mary.QualificationsEducation: Graduate from a CAHEA-approved School of Radiologic Technology with a Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Technology, Education, Science, or ManagementLicensure: Credentialed, in good standing, in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Experience: Minimum of five years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology. Previous experience/education in curriculum design, instructional techniques, and evaluative techniques, program administration, and counseling. Minimum of two years experience as an instructor in an accredited radiography program.Takes active role in recruitment of students into the profession through public speaking/relations activities. Comprehends computer operation/function and possesses manual skills in computer operation.Serves as a public relations spokesperson for St. Alexius Medical Center.Pay Range$35.65 - $50.35 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
