Occasional evening and noon meetings are requiredOverview:ND SBDC Center Directors provide business advising and training to entrepreneurs and small business owners or managers in all facets of starting, managing and growing a small business. These positions also oversee administrative and operations functions of a regional center (office). Center Directors are responsible for program marketing, stakeholder relations and local-match funds development within their assigned region and for representing ND SBDC within their region at various functions and events, and also serve as an information resource and conduit to the ND SBDC Lead Center regarding program and network planning, budgeting, operations and delivery of programs and services.A portion of the Director's time will also be dedicated to collaboration with Stark Development Corporation, the local economic development office, to align strategies and initiatives that promote sustained economic growth in the region.These positions are created, implemented and continued based on funding available from an annual SBA Cooperative Agreement award grant and any additional funding provided by other funding sources or special project funds.Advisory: Stark Development Corporation/West River Business Center Board of

Directors. Employee concerns will be directed through the Executive Vice-

President of Stark Development Corporation.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in business, entrepreneurship, economics, management, finance or another relevant major with specialized subject knowledge in business management and 24 months of full-time equivalent verified experience relevant to this position and its multi-faceted responsibilities; or a Masters degree in a business related field of study.Key Responsibilities:Client Assistance

Provide one-on-one business advising and technical assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners in all facets of starting, managing, and growing a business.

Offer expertise in areas such as business planning, financial analysis, operations management, and market feasibility.

Use industry tools and databases for client research and advising.

Help clients develop financial packages, prepare pro forma financial statements, and analyze financial viability.

Support troubleshooting of business challenges and identify areas for improvement.

Maintain accurate client files in the Center IC database for review and reporting purposes.

Conduct follow-ups to obtain client feedback and measure satisfaction and impacts.

Facilitate team-based advising when needed and connect clients with additional resources.
