Senior Test Manager - Core Banking Platform

The Senior Test Manager – Core Banking Solutions is responsible for planning, coordinating and governing all testing activities across Core Banking delivery initiatives. The role ensures that software releases meet agreed quality standards and are delivered in a predictable, controlled and efficient manner.The Senior Test Manager acts as the primary quality lead within a program or portfolio of projects and works closely with Delivery Leads, Business Stakeholders, Development Teams, Release Management and Clients to ensure successful test execution and release readiness.This is a hands-on delivery role requiring proactive leadership, strong ownership and active management of risks, defects, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.

 Define and own the overall test strategy, test planning, and resource management across projects and releasesLead and coordinate SIT, End-to-End Testing, and support UAT executionEnsure adequate test coverage for functional and non-functional requirementsManage test execution, delivery timelines, and testing commitmentsDrive defect management, prioritisation, resolution, and risk escalationGovern quality gates, release readiness assessments, and go-live recommendationsProvide transparent reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, defects, and delivery risksAct as the central point of contact for all testing and quality-related matters across Business, Development, Architecture, Operations, and Release ManagementDrive test automation, CI/CD-aligned quality practices, and continuous improvement initiativesLead, coach, and develop Test Leads, Test Engineers, and external testing resources while fostering a culture of accountability and quality excellence
