Akkodis is recruiting for an FEA analyist for a large aerospace manufacturer in Cincinnati, OH. This is an onsite cotract position with a pay range $65-$75 an hour.
Roles and Responsibilities• Execute the analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.• Developing in-depth knowledge of a finite element analysis (FEA) as it applies to mechanical stress analysis.• Contribute to the engineering design of some of the most advanced aerospace systems from idea through flight.• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve engineering problems.• Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.• Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.Required Qualifications• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from an accredited university or college• 10+ years of experience in mechanical vibration/stress analysis with a finite element softwareDesired Characteristics• Demonstrated influence and program management skills• Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
