Your responsibilities will include:

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Reconcile invoices between source data apps (Shopmonkey and Shopify) and QBO.

Apply incoming cash receipts (checks, ACH, wires) accurately to customer accounts.

Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and payment discrepancies.

Maintain AR Aging Report for completeness and accuracy.

Attend and contribute to weekly AR meetings.

Work with Operations team to onboard new customers.

Prepare bank deposits and take to bank.

Maintain accurate customer master data.

Accounts Payable (AP)

Match vendor bills to POs and enter for payment in Bill.com

Ensure correct coding of vendor bills

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Onboard new vendors (W9, banking information) and maintain accurate vendor master data

Maintain AP Aging Report for completeness and accuracy

Manage annual 1099 process

Credit Cards

Maintain corporate credit card transactions in Bill.com

Ensure employees have properly coded and attached receipts or follow-up accordingly

Weekly/Monthly Close

Assist Controller with month-end close tasks, such as prepaid and accruals

Other

Maintain accounting inbox

Preferred Experience (not all are required):

You have completed a minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting

You have prior AR and AP experience and a foundational understanding of GAAP

You are tech savvy and proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel

Experience with Bill.com, Shopify and ShopMonkey

You want to learn about the business

You are a confident communicator, both verbally and written, internally and externally

You are a problem solver motived to dig down deep and follow through until the issue is resolved

You are detail-oriented ensuring proper support is obtained for transactions.

You are organized and can work through competing priorities
