Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the transport industry. The position is based in NORWALK, Ohio. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be expected to perform various financial and accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry. The role involves onsite work and will require proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable tasks, including entering and coding bills Handle accounts receivable duties, including posting payments and making collection calls Assist with the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency Maintain accurate records of customer credit information Work closely with the billing clerk to ensure all financial data is recorded correctly Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Handle invoice processing accurately and efficiently Use Microsoft Excel for data entry tasks Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Billing operations Proficient in Data Entry Knowledge of Invoice Processing procedures Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel Proficient in using QuickBooksRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
