Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Painesville, Ohio. This role involves handling a variety of tasks in the finance industry, including accounts payable, billing, and administrative work. The successful candidate will be primarily based onsite, where they will report to the Chief Operating Officer.Responsibilities: Engage in invoice processing as part of the Accounts Payable (AP) obligations Handle various billing tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness Conduct account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions Perform data entry tasks to keep records updated Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) duties to ensure all money owed to the company is billed and received Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Carry out various administrative tasks as needed Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.Requirements Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing Procedures Proficiency in Data Entry tasks Experience with Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in QuickBooks software Ability to maintain accurate financial records and data Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
