Located in the vibrant community of Dublin, Ohio, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where employees are empowered to succeed.Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join the AP team for our client. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining comprehensive records of financial transactions.Key Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to verify accuracy.

Obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.

Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure proper coding.

Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Correspond with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.

Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Accounts Payable (AP)High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting role.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
