Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Norton, Ohio, United States. This role primarily involves providing comprehensive administrative support services for a department involved in fleet operations within the construction industry. Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of data entries to keep spreadsheets updated in line with department processes and requirements. Coordinating vehicle plates and stickers to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Verification of addresses and contact information. Scanning and entering equipment requests on behalf of various branches and departments. Logging updates of equipment inspections as needed. Inputting equipment moves into the FMS database. Regularly updating the yard equipment report. Creation of Purchase Orders (PO's). Recording meeting minutes and distributing them to team members. Liaising with staff from other departments to resolve issues as and when they arise. Welcoming visitors and applicants in the front lobby, and guiding them to/from meeting rooms. Execution of general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing and scheduling appointments.Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills. Proven experience in providing high-quality customer service. Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly. Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel. Skilled in scheduling appointments efficiently, balancing priorities and managing time effectively. Experience in coordinating meetings, including logistics, attendees, and agenda setting. Ability to generate reports accurately, showcasing strong analytical skills.
