Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Columbus, Indiana for an Administrative Coordinator. This role is within a dynamic team, where you will provide administrative support, focusing on absence and leave management. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations in our busy office environment.Responsibilities: Facilitate administrative support to the Leave & Accommodation Management Team Oversee the production and distribution of correspondence via fax, email, HRIS, and US Mail Assist in generating reports as needed Manage supplies inventory to ensure smooth office operations Create and maintain electronic files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible Monitor administrative department email accounts and fax, ensuring all communications are promptly addressed Distribute incoming department mail to the appropriate team members Provide project assistance as needed, ensuring tasks are completed within set deadlines Attend team meetings, contributing to discussions and providing updates on administrative tasks Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your roleKey skills: Leave of Absence Absence Management Liaison Employee Relations FMLA Administrative Assistance Assure Compliance Audit Reports Manage Vendor Relationships Requirements Proficiency in Leave of Absence and Absence Management Strong liaison skills and ability to manage vendor relationships Solid understanding of Employee Relations and FMLA Ability to provide effective Administrative Assistance Must assure compliance with company policies and procedures Experience in auditing reports Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in the use of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite.
