- Plan and oversee of project preparation such as Project Benefit identification, scoping, and development of Project Charter
- Develop project plan, milestones, budgets per project scope
- Act to apply Project Management Frameworks (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall) practices in a manner to best suit the needs of the initiative
- Staff projects in alignment with line managers and delivery areas and manage the project team
- Monitor cost, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances
- Track, maintain, and publish project reports (i.e. workload, budget) by using the designated tools
- Guide the team and organize on how to leverage project management practices and values to maximize the delivery of business value
- Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, milestones, and schedule
- Actively identify and refine mitigation approaches for project risks and issues and escalate when necessary
- Build a trusting environment where issues are raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on correcting and problem solving
- Champion collaborative discussion, decision making, and problem solving
- Drive internal and external team communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Coordinate and encourage participation from all team members in project management ceremonies (Kick-Offs, Requirements Gathering, Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective)
