We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone.THE OPPORTUNITYAs the Analyst, People Compliance, you will be responsible for employment compliance with Fair Workweek practices, meal and rest laws, minor scheduling rules and state-specific pay rules. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of these laws and will be the subject matter expert in Chipotle's policies and procedures that support them. This role will organize and report metrics, provide trend analysis, and perform audits, all in the effort to represent company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.WHAT YOU'LL DO

Using data mining techniques, compile data and provide visual representations of key metrics to leadership and internal partners to aid in training and education.

Create and maintain trend analysis for compliance-related metrics to identify patterns.

Monitor and audit payments during bi-weekly payroll to ensure eligibility and accuracy.

Create and maintain internal and external dashboard metrics representing compliance with Good Faith Estimates/Regular Schedules, attestation responses, and various pay spends by type.

Proactively identify process improvements to improve reporting effectiveness and efficiency.

Support compliance-related audits and legal data requests.

Educate managers and employees on compliance policies and procedures and recommend solutions to improve execution and compliance of scheduling-related laws.

Lead small projects and assist team with other large projects, as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

2 - 4 years of experience in Reporting/Auditing, Employment Compliance, or Human Resources required. Restaurant and/or retail experience highly desired.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Excellent analytical and research skills with attention to detail.

Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel. Excel experience to include functions and formulas with the ability to create new reporting. Experience with Alteryx and/or Power BI preferred.

Experience with Kronos, Workday and ServiceNow (or other case management software) preferred.

Requires strong time management and exceptional customer service skills.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Demonstrated experience as a project team member.

Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
