Position:Application Developer - JavaJOB REF#:29115Duration:3 Years (On-going Contract)Location:Marysville, OH, CA 43040 (HYBRID)Rate:Open - Market Rate (W2 Only / H1 Transfer)

Position: Hybrid-Less than 60%, At the beginning of the assignment, higher on-site % for better knowledge sharing/learning, training on manufacturing processes, and build team connection. (local candidates)

A global world class Automotive Manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Applications Developer to support their manufacturing applications, working in agile environments and groups.

Responsibilities Include: Design, implement, test, and document business object models, application services. Create relational data models in Oracle (DDL) and general data maintenance/analysis tasks Participate in big-data and search related development involving Hadoop, Pig, Sqoop, and Elasticsearch Collaborate on business requirements and gap analysis Design and build manufacturing critical application with Java and other other programming language. Conduct application review and prepare the deployment of application. Work closely with technical lead and a group of developers. Work with manufacturing engineers on user requirements. Knowledge, skills, abilities, traits, certifications, years of experience, to successfully perform job function This assignment will lead to more project opportunities with the successful delivery of the first project.

Must have above average skills in the following: 8+ years in: Java, Maven, OpenJpa, Hibernate or Similar, WebSphere/JBoss or similar, SQL 3+ years in: Angular, SpringBoot, GIT and/or Docker/Docker swarm/OpenShift 5+ years in: Apache Camel, RESTEasy/Jersey or similar REST frameworks Expertise with Java, Spring Framework (IOC, AOP, Spring Transactions, JDBC Templates) Experience working with Message Queues and JMS Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment and creating shell scripts Expertise with SQL and experience working with Oracle Good understanding of enterprise architectural patterns including J2EE design patterns Experience using Spring MVC Experience using an Open Source Rules Engine such as Drools or Jess Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript, JSON, HTML, AJAX, JSP, and/or CSS Education: B.S. Computer Science or Bachelors Degree in a related field.
