Application Developer (No C2C/Sponsorship)

This person will be responsible for the support and new development within a Cobol and .NET environment. They will need to have experience working directly with business users in the Manufacturing or Finance space to gather requirements and support day to day plant operations. This person will be in charge of enhancement request, data requests specifically within either the manufacturing or Finance space for the organization. They will need to have experience working within plant and production operations, sales, materials and/or customer data.Qualifications

• Very good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Very good interpersonal skills are required / must be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel
• Organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties and multiple projects with respect to business needs, competing priorities.
• Experience with an integrated technology environment (Micro Focus Cobol, PL1, Python, C# .Net ).
• Extremely good problem analysis skills.
• Open to learning and utilizing new technologies and new skills.
• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance)
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed for production on-call coverage
• Experience supporting manufacturing or commercial related custom developed applications is a plus
• Linux experience is a plus
