Job Description
The Area HROperations Leader will:
- Lead a team of HR/People & Culture (P&C) professionals across a portfolio of regional manufacturing plants spread throughout North America
- Develop a robust understanding of onsite workforce needs and challenges across your portfolio, working closely with the Area Operations Director and P&C Business partner to ensure effective delivery of P&C services to the business.
- Build effective relationship with your team and customers (employees) by spending time onsite at the plants as needed.
- Provideexpert labor relations adviceand escalation supportto your team, this includes getting actively involved in Union matters and supporting grievances
- Ensuresuccessful, consistentdeliveryand adoptionof P&Cpractices,from performance evaluation through to employee engagement.
- Be an active and visible sponsor of theP&C transformationwhich includes the introduction of shared services
- Support employees and managers in the adoption and continued use of self-services, serving as an escalation point on policy interpretation to ensure consistency and quality
- Contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of Global P&C processes and onsite P&C ways of working
- Manage the talent development of P&C Operations On-Site leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Relevant experience helping to guide multiple plant locations
