Assistant Machine Operator

FULL-TIME

$15.76/hr

Duties include:

- Safely operating various manufacturing equipment, following specific directions, and performing duties as assigned, either verbally and/or written.

- Lead run changes, plate, and ink setups, and machine operation to produce multiple prints run per shift.

- Visually inspecting printing plates, inks, and raw material to remove defective before processing

- Visually inspecting and/or measuring for accurate product selection based on current run requirements.

- Visually inspecting finished product; adjust machine as needed to improve and maintain quality.

- Maintaining daily production log. Assist and direct Wrapper with Pallet Tags, etc.

- Meet minimum piece rates of 8000-12,000 per day or averaging 18-26 (50ct) cases per hour.

- Understanding of Quality Inspection Criteria

- Executing end-of-day and weekly machine cleaning while keeping the entire work area neat and organized.

- Learning machine basic operation and making machine adjustments as needed.

- Reporting further machine problems to service maintenance mechanics, and production lead as needed.

- Using Safe Work Practice. Using of required PPE. Using machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout program.

- Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with other team members in a noisy work environment.

- Thinking and acting quickly in a fast-paced production environment.
