Summary:Vernovis has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Cloud Engineer for our client in Columbus, Ohio! This person will be heavily involved in the technical direction through the design, build, and support of Azure based applications. Their technical expertise will be used to maintain the availability and integrity of this client’s IT network infrastructure systems, and cloud services. Through a partnership with management and team members throughout the organization, this person will be critical in achieving corporate goals ad business growth, by delivering effective and secure solutions. Being personable and able to work with others is imperative in this role, as you will work with partners with varied levels of IT knowledge in a variety of business units. If interested, please email Nate at Responsibilities:- Mid-level to senior level Azure Engineer. Years of experience are not as important as quality of experience and level of applicable knowledge
- Supporting network technologies, systems, and services including Azure applications, Network Servers and OS (virtual and on-prem), Active Directory, GPOs, and O365.
- Data management and restoration
- Working with various partners throughout the business, as well as 3rd parties and vendors
- Assist with creating documentation and training
- Assist with periodic network health assessments and provides recommendations for improvement (tuning)
- Adaptable to changing priorities, such as deadlines and high severity incidents
- Comfortable working a rotating on call schedule with some travel (max of 25%)
- This is a hybrid schedule, starting with 2-3 days onsite before dropping to 1
Requirements:- 3-5 years of Azure experience
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Azure cloud applications, services, and administration
- Network Servers & Operating Systems (virtual and physical
- Microsoft Windows Domain Services; including Active Directory, GPOs and O365
- Corporate Messaging and Communication Systems
