Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Analyst in the service industry. As a Billing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our financial department, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of vendor billing and reconciliation, maintaining vendor-related records, completing accounts payable functions and serving as a liaison between vendors and our locations. Analyze and reconcile vendor billing, ensuring the accuracy of invoices.

Handle accounts receivable duties and update vendor-related records.

Review and validate charges and services for accuracy.

Extract and analyze data from various sources, uploading into an Access Database.

Complete accounts payable functions within the department including matching and processing invoices for payment.

Prepare detailed reports on billing activities, including outstanding invoices, payment plans, and collection activities.

Serve as the primary contact between vendors and our locations, addressing any billing inquiries or complaints.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure billing accuracy.

Conduct audits of vendor accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Assist in the closing of vendor accounts at month-end and year-end.

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the service industry

Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with billing functions and preparation of billing statements Experience with telecommunications billing is a plus Proficiency in using Microsoft Access and creating Microsoft Access Queries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred.
