Billing Analyst

Description We are seeking a Billing Analyst to join our wholesale distribution team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The primary function of this role is to manage and execute the billing processes, including the utilization of D365 and Avalara sales and use tax systems. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity that involves processing a variety of billing tasks including parts and service, and handling customer interactions related to billing and sales tax.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer credits using CRM and Accounts Receivable (AR) systems Navigating customers through the billing process, including sales tax application Addressing customer inquiries related to billing and sales tax charges Executing credit and rebill procedures for customers as needed Ensuring the accurate maintenance of customer credit records Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions Understanding and managing the entire billing process from application to rebilling Assisting with the processing and maintenance of exemption certificates in the system.Requirements Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required, as the role involves frequent client interaction and data management. Candidate must possess substantial knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) as they will be expected to manage and track all payments and outstanding invoices. Experience with Billing Functions is necessary, as the role involves processing, auditing, and sending invoices to clients. Proficiency in using D365 software is mandatory, as the role requires regular use of this platform for various tasks such as reporting and data analysis. Knowledge of Avalara tax compliance software is crucial, as the role involves the application of accurate tax rates on invoices. Experience with Rebills is required, as the candidate will be responsible for managing and processing any rebilled invoices.
