Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Application Development Project Manager/Lead in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves leading and strategizing high-level program initiatives within our telecom provider company. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing multiple project teams, developing project scopes, and managing cross-project initiatives, among other responsibilities.Responsibilities: Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives aligning with organizational objectives Develop and implement program assessment protocols for continuous evaluation and improvement Uphold organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance Oversee multiple project teams to ensure program goals are achieved Collaborate closely with project sponsor and cross-functional teams to develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and budget for new initiatives Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate cross-project initiatives Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors Develop and manage budgets for projects, ensuring delivery against established business goals and objectives Collaborate with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate program risks and produce program reports. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Demonstrated experience in Application Development and Project Management Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders effectively Proficiency in planning, budgeting, and time management Knowledge of Quality Design Principles and Protocols Experience in risk management and change management Ability to handle technical issues and deliver solutions Knowledge of Cyber Security principles and protocols Experience in Program Management Ability to perform ad hoc financial and productivity optimization tasks Understanding of deliverable principles and practices Experience in managing and leading application development projects.
