Insight Global is seeking a developer to join a clients Korber development team. This team is responsible for enhancing and supporting the implementation of the Korber warehouse management system. They are also responsible for integrating Korber with a variety of other applications. They just finished implementing Korber WMS last year, so right now they are working through stability/bugs. In the next year they will be starting the push towards working though different initiatives. While we would love to find someone with Korber development experience, please note that this is not a requirement. Korber is low code, so as long as someone has a strong programming mindset, they will be able to catch on. If candidate does not have Korber experience, they are looking for someone that is eager to learn new skillsets and can take the initiative to learn.
General Responsibilities: a. Provide mentoring to associate level developers as needed. b. Working with the business to drive tech solutions to their problems. c. Ensure quality for all product team solutions today. d. Staying abreast of the team's roadmap and skills needed to achieve it. e. Assists in application design and development that results in maintainable solutions that are scalable to the growth of the system and the company. f. Create and maintain SQL objects, e. g. stored procedures, functions, indexes and schemas pertinent to team products.g. Develop applications consuming data via a Service Oriented Architecture. h. Participation and engagement in Scrum team ceremonies and framework.i. Properly merge code into company's source control using team branching and CI/CD strategies. j. Handle or assist with code deployments. k. Draft and share proposed designs with architecture, operations and other developers, as needed. l. Providing project or team status updates as requested.m. Create required documentation for all products and features. n. Follow all company and industry standards and development processes for any project or development initiative. Including but not limited to: security, naming conventions, and code and database standards. o. Monitor and assist in solutions to improve performance of all applications. Any issues escalated from Help Desk, supervisor, or management. - Experience developing solutions for warehouse management systems, particularly Korber, is preferred. - Warehouse domain knowledge - SQL performance tuning skills and experience - manufacturing/retail/ecommerce industry- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including being able to create and optimize stored procedures. o Strong SQL development skills and experience - Experience developing applications with C# and the . NET Framework or Core. Proficient with Windows operating systems and Office tools.- ID: #49539290
