Cardiologist- Adult Congenital Heart DiseaseAn opportunity to join the #1 heart care program in the country and the top 10 pediatric heart care program nationwide per U.S. News and World Report 2022-2023 Best Hospital Rankings.The Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full time Adult congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist to support our growing team at the Cleveland Clinic. Patients come from all over the United States and the world for the advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments offered by our Congenital Center. Our Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) accredited comprehensive care ACHD center include congenital cardiologist, interventionalists, surgeons, imagers, anesthesiologists, pulmonologists that work collaboratively to manage outpatient and inpatient patients with complex multisystem disease in a comprehensive and highly effective manner. We have specialized Cardio-Obstetrics and Congenital pulmonary hypertension clinics. This position will focus on outpatient adult congenital clinic to serve as a regional referral center. Interest in ACHD heart failure and transplant and clinical or basic science research is welcomed. Duties will include participating in the management of the adult surgical population preoperatively and postoperatively, caring for ACHD patients with end stage disease requiring heart failure and transplant needs and being an active member of the Congenital transplant team.Cleveland Clinic has been ranked as the No.1 heart program in the nation in U.S.News & World Report's ?America's Best Hospitals? survey every year since 1995.Seeking candidates that are ambitious, driven, and enjoy working with patients and are committed in contributing to the growth and long terms goals of the department.
