Let us be the best place you'll ever work.A Brief OverviewThe Cash Applier I is responsible for posting cash remittances and credit memos to customer accounts. Other responsibilities include verifying daily deposit totals, posting account adjustment forms, and maintaining accurate records and files concerning cash application data entry activity. This is the first level of a multi-level career development class series. Work assignments enable incumbents to obtain the experience required for advancement to Cash Applier II and Senior.What you will doApplies receipts to customers’ invoices accurately and timely, using an on-line system and researches and resolves payment discrepanciesDetermines specific account criteria for EFT payments and resolves according to established guidelines and applies manual payments, notifies account representative of discrepancy, and awaits direction from account representativeCommunicates unresolved questions, billing disputes, and customer complaints to the Cash Application Supervisor and documents credit balances.Identifies and reports issues that reduce efficiencies and obstructs performance of assigned tasks and responsibilitiesProcesses and balances credit card payments daily and account adjustments and account transfers and washes in a timely, accurate manner.Other duties assigned by management.Education QualificationsHigh School Diploma RequiredExperience Qualifications1-3 years RequiredCash application, banking, accounts receivable, or related experience PreferredSkills and AbilitiesGood computer and outstanding customer service skillsMicrosoft WordMicrosoft AccessMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPointOur people are passionate about what they do, the product they sell, and the customers they serve.
