Title: Cisco Wireless Network Engineer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Technology Stack: Must have strong Cisco controller knowledge (5520s/9800s), Cisco Access Points and large enterprise environment experience. Nice to have - experience with Cisco Assurance and DNA Spaces.

Representative Responsibilities & Key recruiting notes

Maintains, optimizes and troubleshoots wireless enterprise network services (data, voice, location, security). Configures, administers, installs, and upgrades network infrastructure components.
  • They are not interested in candidates with experience with Meraki, they are a Cisco shop
  • The team is comprised of 9 Engineers addressing both wireless and wired technologies
  • Expectation is that this Engineer will be onsite at their Vernon-Cincinnati location 2x per week. Onsite requirement is associated with upgrades and troubleshooting poor wireless connections/equipment at different locations
  • Some on-call rotation is required; shared with the team
  • They are currently using DNA Spaces to pull facility floorplans and share with location services the x-y axis for device location with a 3rd party service
