You have found the right team.As a Client Tax Associate in the Tax and Home Lending Reporting team, you will be a trusted partner to several Consumer Bank lines of business to ensure accurate and complete year-end reporting as well as compliance with IRS and regulatory standards while meeting quality and productivity targets in a timely manner. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring process controls, data integrity checks and managing departmental goals and objectives. You will assist the department manager to identify process gaps related to year-end reporting, Social Security Numbers/ Taxpayer Identification Numbers (SSN/TIN) certification, backup withholding and legal and tax compliance issues and install related controls. You will serve as the point of contact to other business areas during the year end project ensuring all deliverables, testing, and reporting are done on time and correctly. You will also assist management track deliverables assigned to the Year End Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) ensuring timely and accurate completion.Job responsibilities

Serve as the SME to internal reporting teams to deliver productivity and process improvements related to year end reporting

Assess the impact of regulatory changes and communicate required procedural changes to internal teams

Complete IRS reporting and filing activities

Perform required reconciliation of production activity

Perform quarterly reviews of department procedures

Complete customer complaints, data exceptions and widget functions to ensure service levels, productivity and quality standards are met

Delivery of automation solutions to increase accuracy, efficiency, and productivity via Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, UIPath and other tools as appropriate

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Three years' experience in Financial Services

A high degree of analytical ability and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop an effective communication management plan around projects

Ability to track and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work independently and accurately while meeting deadlines

Ability to coordinate the activities of other areas for department deliverables accurately and on time

Ability to research compliance issues and develop policies and procedures based on findings

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Previous experience working in MSP, VLS and Recovery One servicing systems is preferred

Experience with SQL language is preferred

Experience with Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, UIPath automation solutions
