Hiring a Cloud Engineer - Level 2! Our direct client is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Level 2. Come join an exciting company that offers a comprehensive benefit package including health (with premiums 30% lower than the national average for the industry!), dental, vision, 401(k)/Profit Sharing/Employee Stock Ownership Program, and PTO/Holidays!The Position: The Cloud Engineer will be primarily focused on Cloud platform based applications and related integrations to SAP ERP, and will be responsible for: working on small to large complex IT projects providing technical knowledge to enable business processes and designing, implementing and optimizing cloud architectures and associated support duties; and maintaining a high level of competency regarding the configuration of Google Cloud Platform by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements, and leveraging best practices.Job duties include:- Designing, prototyping, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Google Cloud Platform applications and related business processes
- Documenting technical specifications implemented as per cloud best practices
- Providing technical knowledge project development efforts
- Learning new skills in cloud computing and IoT space
- Performing testing based on business requirement understanding
Top skills you need to have:- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 4 years of experience in implementation and development of web applications using front-end technologies
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the implementation and support of cloud solutions
Preferred:- Development experience on React Library
- Application development experience in Google Cloud platform and GKE
- Cloud platform certifications
