The facility is now 32,000 sq ft larger after the completion of an add on and houses multiple VTL, mill, and grinding machines (with more being purchased as the operation expands).

In this role, the Applications Engineer will influence and develop the future of the organization serving as an active lead for 3 programmers and should posses a strong technical background in turning, milling, and grinding.

This is a 1st shift with a flexible start time of 7 AM. Overtime opportunities are plentiful for those that want it as most average 45-50 hours/week. The goal is to provide a work-life balance while allowing you to accomplish your goals.

• Program CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines
• Review and enhance current CNC programs
• Document processes including set up information and instructions
• Recommend and implement best machining strategies

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is ideal
• Strong technical background (turning, milling, grinding)
• Programming, Set up, Operation of CNC machines using G&M codes, including macro variables
• Project management experience incorporating automation (ideally Renishaw probe)
• Experience leading and developing people
• Self motivated and detail oriented
• Thorough knowledge in applied mathematics thru trigonometry with the ability to calculate complex curves and angles
• Extensive working knowledge of aircraft components and repair materials (properties and machinability of high temperature alloys)
