Machinist - $20-25/hr with benefits!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, utilizing precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and saws. The Machinist will recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling, perform regularly scheduled cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, and ensure all tasks are performed safely and responsibly. Compliance with all company policies, quality policies, and instructions is mandatory.Hard Skills
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Using precision tools, machinery, and equipment
Recognizing and deploying inserts, fixtures, and tooling
Performing machining functions (precision deburring, manual machining, drilling, tapping)
Setting up and operating conventional lathes and mills
Proficiency in precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, indicators)
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning (GD&T)
Knowledge of programming and operation
