Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Eastern Cincinnati. This role is integral to our operations, focused on managing payment collections in various forms and maintaining customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a customer service orientation and the confidence to initiate necessary conversations.Responsibilities: Manage collections processes by taking payments over the phone, through portals, and by check Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to track and update customer payment information Maintain client relationships through CRM and ensure customer satisfaction Address customer inquiries pertaining to their accounts receivable (AR) and provide appropriate solutions Proactively reach out to customers for payment follow-ups and discussions Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions based on their payment status Coordinate billing functions and ensure accuracy in the process Answer inbound calls from customers and provide them with necessary assistance Adopt a heavily-outbound approach to manage collections effectivelyRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Ability to handle answering inbound calls professionally Familiarity with various billing functions Knowledge of collection processes and regulations Experience with heavily outbound call environments Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
