Description We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in UNIONTOWN, Ohio. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with managing customer accounts within the security industry. This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers the chance to utilize your skills in handling accounts receivable and customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collection processes Use Accounting Software Systems to process customer credit applications accurately Answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries in a timely manner Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate customer credit records Perform billing functions and manage accounts receivable (AR) effectively Handle claim administration and resolve any issues that arise Use CRM and Epic Software to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions Ensure adherence to collection processes and guidelines Collaborate with other team members to achieve set objectives. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role within the Security industry Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management Proven ability to handle answering inbound calls efficiently and professionally Familiarity with billing functions within the Security industry Experience in claim administration Knowledge of collection processes and best practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and independently Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
