- Research, obtain, and manage all necessary permits required for construction projects, including but not limited to building permits, environmental permits, zoning permits, and land-use permits.
- Coordinate the permits for the Wastewater treatment plan, and odor control.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.
- Prepare and submit permit applications, environmental impact statements, and other regulatory documentation required for permit approval.
- Monitor the progress of permit applications and follow up with regulatory agencies as needed to ensure timely approval.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permit requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential environmental risks associated with construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with permit conditions and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure all permitting requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, civil engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction and environmental permitting.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Familiar with the Ohio Regulations.
