What Operations Analytics contributes to Cardinal HealthOperations Analytics is responsible for data and technology management to support and enable Operations processes including data mining, business analysis, data integrity, data acquisition, ERP business systems analysis and functionality, reporting and analysis. Uses standard and specialized business software tools to assist Operations in managing business processes and performance.The Consultant, Operations Analytics would be responsible for building and operationalizing production tools for the Consumer Health Logistics Center. These tools will aide in streamlining our production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of products. This role will work closely with site leadership, Black Belt and other key stakeholders to deliver user-friendly tools and reporting that will be leveraged in business decisions.About the Consumer Health Logistics CenterThe Consumer Health Logistics Center (CHLC) will be Cardinal Health’s newest Pharmaceutical Supply Chain operation in Groveport, Ohio. This facility, featuring some of the latest innovations in automation technology, is approximately 350,000 square feet and picks, packs, and ships consumer products each month. This position will work traditional hours Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and will be subject to change based on operational need.Responsibilities

Produce and maintain production tools, utilizing Microsoft Excel or other similar software, that supports production planning. This includes creating spreadsheets, dashboards, and other visual aids to track production progress, inventory levels, and other key metrics.

Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Using the tools developed by this role, propose and implement solutions to address bottlenecks, optimize resource allocation, and improve overall production efficiency.

Collaborate with warehouse managers, automation team, and other stakeholders to ensure that your tools and recommendations are aligned with overall business objectives.

Complete ad hoc data research for site leaders and facility needs.

Communicate analytical findings effectively to site leadership and stakeholders.

Partner, when necessary, with the Pharma Supply Chain Decision Science Solutions team on advance reporting or analyses.

Maintain and develop data workflows, as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

4-8 years of experience, preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience developing analytical insights with high business value preferred

Proficient in Excel, Power BI (or equivalent), and Tableau (or similar visualization tool)

Analytical tool skills preferred
