You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to ensure the security and success of the firm.Job Summary:As a Control Manager- Executive Director, you will support the Card business in CCB, with a focus on Transforming the Bank Initiatives within the Credit Card division and enhancing control connectivity to services and processes executed on behalf of the Credit Card business, such as Connected Commerce, Digital and CCB Operations. You will help manage and execute against highly transformational and complex initiatives that materially impact the Card business, specifically focused on Change Management controls and significant Legal and Regulatory change matters. This role will sit at multiple control leadership tables and be representative of the end to end. Excellent communication skills and executive presence are required in order influence and/or negotiate internally, often at a senior executive level. You will partner with the business and stakeholders to help steer the strategic vision of the business, while establishing a strong end to end controls framework. This role also requires the ability to manage across stakeholders successfully in order to oversee and influence outcomes without direct authority, to support the Card business and control agenda collectively.This role resides within the JPMorgan Chase CCB Control Management Organization and reports to the Card Business Control Manager.Job Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the Card business processes, Marketing execution controls and the Card regulatory environment

Develop and steer key Change Management control routines in partnership with the business in a matrixed execution environment, coordinating across several lines of business functions

Proactively work with the business to develop a clear strategic vision while identifying key risk/mitigants to develop a successful controls framework prior to launch

Support key Product Delivery cabinets that span scope across the Card Business and assess New Business risk effectively

Direct interface with cross line of business control support functions impacting the Card book of work and ensure accurate and timely reporting of any issues that impact the Card business

Partner effectively with colleagues across the business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions to steer consistent and rigorous operational risk practices and control programs

Provide transparent and clear status updates, issue and risk disposition, escalating any issues associated with the initiative, as needed, on a timely basis.

Ensure all areas of the initiatives adhere to JPM frameworks, policies, and standards

Develop positive working relationships to maintain an open environment for collaboration

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

10+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, risk management, or compliance preferred

Demonstrates a consistent track record of having successfully created large, strategic, cross functional initiatives

Strong knowledge and background in controls management, process improvement, issues management, and audit best practices, including regulatory and supervisory expectations.

Highly developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage and effective communicate at the senior management level

Ability to successfully navigate, influence, and lead collaboratively in a complex infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals.

High level of professionalism, detail oriented, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Proactive approach to problem solving, owning the issues and having the determination to follow tasks/issues through and ability to develop structure and solve problems in a pragmatic and balanced way; solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analytical skills; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions
