Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to manage the accounting operations of our company, which includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. This role is based in Macedonia, Ohio and will report directly to the President of the company.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures Manage accounts payable to ensure timely payment to vendors Invoice customers accurately and monitor aged accounts receivable Maintain cost accounting for individual products Manage physical inventory Process payroll accurately and timely using external vendor Maintain control over accounting transactions Manage import/export personnel to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulations Issue timely and complete financial statements Coordinate the annual audit with the outside auditors Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.Skills: Proficiency in Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing and Budget Processes Experience with Accounting operations and Cost Accounting Ability to Process Payroll and manage Inventory cycles Proficiency in QuickBooks Experience in the Manufacturing industry. Requirements Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller or similar role Proficiency in accounting functions is essential Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Experience in auditing is a must Familiarity with budget processes is required Understanding of accounting operations is crucial Proficiency in Cost Accounting is important Experience in processing payroll is necessary Knowledge of inventory cycles is required Must have experience with QuickBooks Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required Must have excellent communication and leadership skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is necessary CPA certification is a plus.
