As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in the overall success of the organization as you:Responsibilities: Lead the accounting function and assist in the implementation of a new ERP system Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for management review Perform monthly and ad hoc analysis to provide insightful information for decision making Ensure accurate and timely transaction flow and processing Prepare Journal Entries and GL account reconciliations with a thorough understanding of the balances Calculate and file various taxes in compliance with regulations Lead cost-saving initiatives to optimize resources and increase efficiency Assist with budgets and help understand performance metrics and indicators Drive opportunities for improvement in accounting processes and systems Take on ad hoc projects and provide support as needed in the accounting function. Requirements The ideal candidate will likely possess:
Multiple years of full month end close experience
A bachelor's in accounting & finance
The ability & desire to work autonomously
Strong software skills, ideally with implementation experience
