Completes patient screening within the mammography information system, facilitates communication between patient and care team, supports patient flow, and completes patient scheduling for subsequent care. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and projects a professional demeanor in all interactions.Qualifications:High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
1 year of experience in a medical setting, ie. scheduling, registration, or other function.
Familiar with data entry.
Basic computer skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability multi-task and manage several priorities at the same time, ability to prioritize appropriately.
Well organized and shows an understanding of patient needs
Strong communication skills, along with active listening skills
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrates good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
Access to reliable transportation .
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.Preferred:
